Living on Kantstraße — West Berlin at its most classic

Kantstraße runs right through the heart of Charlottenburg, and this is one of those Berlin streets that has everything within a few minutes' walk: restaurants that locals actually go to, small shops, cafés, and the Savignyplatz arches around the corner.

TU Berlin and the UdK at Ernst-Reuter-Platz are close enough to walk, or one short ride on the U2 if the weather says otherwise. S-Bahn Savignyplatz, U-Bahn Wilmersdorfer StraĂźe and Bahnhof Zoo are all nearby.

Charlottenburg is not the loudest part of Berlin, and that is rather the point: tree-lined streets, old apartment buildings, and enough going on that you never have to travel far for an evening out.

Shared room — the budget option

A furnished room for two people, each with their own bed, desk and wardrobe. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with the flat. You apply for one bed and pay only your own share — the most affordable way to live centrally in Berlin, popular with friends arriving together.

All-inclusive rent

Your monthly rent covers everything: high-speed fibre internet, heating, electricity, water — and your Anmeldung. No separate utility bills, no year-end settlement. The only cost on top is the German broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag), a statutory fee charged per apartment, which flatmates share.

Anmeldung included

We provide the landlord confirmation you need to register your address in Berlin. For most international students this is the hardest part of arriving — with us it comes with the room.

What you need to apply

Proof of enrolment or matriculation certificate, passport or ID card, and a visa if you are not an EU citizen. You do not need any of these to send an enquiry — only once you apply for a specific room.

Deposit and terms

Deposit is two months' rent. Minimum stay is six months. Available from 1 October 2026. Students only.
