Living near Halensee — quiet Charlottenburg, close to the lake
The western edge of Charlottenburg is one of the calmer parts of the district: residential streets, mature trees, and Lake Halensee and the Grunewald forest close enough for a run before class.
TU Berlin and the UdK are a short ride away, and the S-Bahn Ring makes the rest of Berlin easy to reach. Kurfürstendamm with its shops and cinemas is around the corner without being on your doorstep.
A good choice if you want green and quiet without giving up a central location.
Your own room in a shared flat
A furnished private room with a bed, desk, chair, wardrobe and curtains — everything you need from day one. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with your flatmates, which is also the fastest way to meet people when you arrive in a new city.
All-inclusive rent
Your monthly rent covers everything: high-speed fibre internet, heating, electricity, water — and your Anmeldung. No separate utility bills, no year-end settlement. The only cost on top is the German broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag), a statutory fee charged per apartment, which flatmates share.
Anmeldung included
We provide the landlord confirmation you need to register your address in Berlin. For most international students this is the hardest part of arriving — with us it comes with the room.
What you need to apply
Proof of enrolment or matriculation certificate, passport or ID card, and a visa if you are not an EU citizen. You do not need any of these to send an enquiry — only once you apply for a specific room.
Deposit and terms
Deposit is two months' rent. Minimum stay is six months. Available from 1 October 2026. Students only.
