Living in Moabit — central, affordable, on the way up
Moabit lies between Mitte and Charlottenburg, which makes it one of the best-connected parts of Berlin — and still one of the more affordable. The Spree, the Beusselstraße market hall and the green stretches along the canal are all close.
TU Berlin and BHT are both a short ride away, and the U9 plus the S-Bahn Ring get you almost anywhere with at most one change. Small bars, bakeries and studios have opened up here in recent years without rents following at the same pace.

Your own room in a shared flat
A furnished private room with a bed, desk, chair, wardrobe and curtains — everything you need from day one. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with your flatmates, which is also the fastest way to meet people when you arrive in a new city.
All-inclusive rent
Your monthly rent covers everything: high-speed fibre internet, heating, electricity, water — and your Anmeldung. No separate utility bills, no year-end settlement. The only cost on top is the German broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag), a statutory fee charged per apartment, which flatmates share.
Anmeldung included
We provide the landlord confirmation you need to register your address in Berlin. For most international students this is the hardest part of arriving — with us it comes with the room.
What you need to apply
Proof of enrolment or matriculation certificate, passport or ID card, and a visa if you are not an EU citizen. You do not need any of these to send an enquiry — only once you apply for a specific room.
Deposit and terms
Deposit is two months' rent. Minimum stay is six months. Available from 1 October 2026. Students only.
