Living in Lichtenberg — more space for your money
Friedrichsfelde is one of the calmer parts of east Berlin: wide streets, a lot of green, and noticeably more room for the rent you pay. The Tierpark with its large park is close by.
HWR Berlin's Lichtenberg campus and HTW's Karlshorst campus are both nearby, and the U5 takes you straight into Mitte and to Alexanderplatz without changing.
Quiet, green and well connected — with more floor space than the inner city gives you at this price.
A large studio of your own
A self-contained furnished studio with its own kitchen and bathroom — no flatmates, no negotiating about the dishes. One of the larger units in the building.
The rent
900 € a month, all-inclusive. It is large enough for two people who know each other — as a pair that works out at 450 € each, on two separate contracts.
All-inclusive rent
Your monthly rent covers everything: high-speed fibre internet, heating, electricity, water — and your Anmeldung. No separate utility bills, no year-end settlement. The only cost on top is the German broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag), a statutory fee charged per apartment, which flatmates share.
Anmeldung included
We provide the landlord confirmation you need to register your address in Berlin. For most international students this is the hardest part of arriving — with us it comes with the room.
What you need to apply
Proof of enrolment or matriculation certificate, passport or ID card, and a visa if you are not an EU citizen. You do not need any of these to send an enquiry — only once you apply for a specific room.
Deposit and terms
Deposit is two months' rent. Minimum stay is six months. Available from 1 October 2026. Students only.
